CHGC Will Live On

A Terrific Way to End 2022

Thankfully we have some members who have had a little think about taking on Executive Roles for Coffs Harbour Garden Club (CHGC).

Two newish members have indicated they are happy to nominate for President and Treasurer. Another member who has been with CHGC for a while but unable to attend many meetings has put her hand up for Secretary – she does have some health issues but current President Margaret Hunt has said she will assist whenever there is a need. Our past Secretary will be nominating for Vice President.

This is exceedingly pleasing and with such a strong team at the healm and ably assisted by past Executive, 2023 should be an exciting time for the club.

‘This is wonderful for the club to have enthusiastic people acting as Executive members’, commented Patron Patricia Roser OAM. Patricia went on to say that ‘she anticipates 2023 be a very exciting one following on from a successful and eventful 2022. Patricia just hopes that this new Executive can re-establish the long running Coffs Harbour Spring Garden Competition’.

A Special General Meeting will be held 18 February 2023 at 1:30pm at the Display Room, North Coast Regional Botanic Garden where these people can be voted into the Executive Roles.
