MEMBERSHIP

Our membership consists of people of all ages and lifestyles. Our common love is in gardens and gardening, the enjoyment of our unique local environment, and the joy of sharing in community spirit.

We meet every third Saturday of the month Jan-Nov at the Botanic Garden Display Room, Hardacre Street, Coffs Harbour, commencing at 1.30pm, unless otherwise mentioned (depending on availability of meeting venue). Please arrive early if you have entries for the competition table or offerings for the Trading Table as the actual MEETING commences at 1:30pm.

The annual membership fee is $15.00. Membership forms are available from the Treasurer OR to submit an on-line membership form please click here. Name tags can also be ordered from the Treasurer @ $8 each.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Coffs Harbour Garden Club prides itself on its involvement in a wide range of community activities and events:

Coffs Harbour Spring Garden Competition – our premier event for the year, held in September, is a popular competition with over 100 entries over recent years. It aims to highlight the beauty and variety of gardens within the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area.

Coffs Harbour Regional Airport air-side gardens maintenance – first Tuesday of each month at 10:30am – we have artistic control and proudly maintain the gardens for Coffs Harbour’s main transport hub.

Member Participation in local, State and National-level Agricultural Shows – including the stewarding of the Flowers & Plants and Vegetable & Fruit Sections of the Coffs Show and member representation on the Coffs Show Committee. The Club also sponsors the Professional Florist Competition held in conjunction with the Coffs Show.

Friends of the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden – through donations and member volunteer participation.
The Garden Clubs of Australia have recognised our club for outstanding service to the Coffs community and individual members for exemplary service to a club.

The Garden Club meet at the Botanic Garden Display Room the THIRD Saturday of the month Jan-Nov (unless otherwise advised). 

We ask members to be there at 1:30pm to place their exhibits on the Competition Table, have an opportunity to browse the Trading Table and have a natter. The actual meeting kicks off after the judging of the competition table (usually 15 min). At the moment we are still having a BYO afternoon tea due to COVID.
