Berry Gardens Festival Trip – CANCELLED

Planned Bus Trip to Berry

Same old, same old folks…….. this trip that the Nambucca Valley Garden Club were organising has been pulled – yes, due to COVID which is very sad.

Thanks to Nambucca Valley Garden Club for their organisation…. just put it to the side folks, we may well be able to go another time, as we do hope that 2022 will see more freedom in travel.

The Berry Gardens Festival is a goer for 2021 with beautiful gardens in and around Berry on the South Coast of NSW open to the public.

Nambucca Valley Garden Club are organising a bus trip to the Festival which will be held 15 – 18 October 2021. Nambucca have asked if Coffs Harbour Garden Club members would like to join them on this trip.

Costs for the trip

The Bus portion cost will be $125 per person.

Motel accommodation will be $360 per person twin share for the three nights’ accommodation.

Garden addmission is $25 for eight gardens.

All meals will be at your own cost.

About the trip

As mentioned above the main purpose of this trip is to visit the eight open gardens that are situated in and around Berry.  It is a given, that there will be retail opportunities to nurseries and stop offs at interesting sights too – you might even get the opportunity to have a sneak peek at the Motorfair which is being held on the same weekend!

The open gardens are especially chosen for their design, plant varieties and creativity with gardens set in vast rural landscapes to small cottage gardens within the town of Berry open for visitors.

Each festival raises thousands of dollars for local Berry not-for-profit groups and over the past 32 years, these funds have enabled the purchase of vital equipment, supported health and community programmes and enriched the lives of many in need. The actual festival will be held from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th October 2021.

The Berry Garden Club is registered with Services NSW and has a QR code for use at all of our events.

With this registration, the club has to comply with COVID-19 safe rules, including masks when required, hand sanitising and distancing.

If you would like to be included in this great trip, could you please contact Garden Clubs of Australia Zone Coordinator Marion Watts on 6564 8897 to indicate your expression of interest by the end of June.
